Cleaning aspect

Hot cleaning: After camping cooking, if there is food left in the pot, it should be cleaned while the pot is still warm, so that the food residue is easier to remove. For example, after cooking noodles, immediately rinse the inside of the pot with warm water to avoid dry food on the wall of the pot is difficult to remove. However, it should be noted that if you use a non-stick coating pot, you can not scrape with sharp cleaning tools to prevent damage to the coating, it is recommended to use a soft sponge or rag to gently wipe.

Use the right cleaner: Choose the cleaner according to the material of the pot. For stainless steel POTS, you can use ordinary dishwashing liquid; For aluminum POTS and pans, avoid the use of strong alkaline or acidic cleaning agents, so as not to corrosion the pot body, it is recommended to choose mild special aluminum products cleaning agents. Like an aluminum alloy camping pot, use a mild detergent with a soft cloth to wipe, and then rinse with water to keep the pot in good condition.

Thoroughly dry: After cleaning, ensure that the pot is completely dry to avoid residual water stains resulting in rust. You can dry with a clean towel, or turn the pot upside down in a well-ventilated place to dry naturally. If it is not used for a long time, you can also place some desiccant inside the pot and then put it away.

Storage aspect

Avoid stacking and extrusion: If it is a pot with a non-stick coating, try not to stack it with other hard and sharp items when stored to prevent the coating from being scratched and affecting the non-stick energy. You can use a special pot storage bag or pad a soft cloth between the pot and the pot to separate storage.

Reasonable storage: the pot is orderly stored in the camping equipment bag according to the size and type, to avoid random placement resulting in bump and deformation. For example, the small pot can be placed inside the large pot, and the matching pot cover is also placed neatly, which is easy to find quickly and ensure that the pot is intact when it is used next time.

Maintenance of tableware (bowls, plates, chopsticks, spoons, etc.)

Timely cleaning: Like POTS and pans, wash utensils as soon as possible after camping to prevent food residues from breeding bacteria or producing odors. Like stainless steel bowls and chopsticks, rinse with water in time after eating, and most stains can be easily removed.

Careful cleaning: For dishes with gaps and grooves, such as dinner plates with carved patterns, you can use a soft brush to carefully clean these easily contaminated places, ensure that there is no food residue and then rinse with water.

Separate cleaning: If there are different materials in the tableware, such as plastic and stainless steel tableware, it is best to clean separately to prevent scraping each other during the cleaning process and damage the tableware surface.

Classification storage: You can use the tableware storage bag, the chopsticks, spoons, bowls, plates and other categories placed in different compartments or pockets, easy to use the next time to quickly pick up, but also to avoid collision caused by damage.

Keep dry: Ensure that the tableware is completely dry before storage, especially the wooden tableware, the wet environment is easy to mold, so it should be put in a ventilated dry place to dry and then put away, if necessary, you can also take out regularly to air.

Special material tableware maintenance

Wooden tableware: can not be soaked in water for a long time, daily cleaning with a wet cloth to wipe clean, you can also regularly apply some food grade wood wax oil, enhance its moisture-proof performance, extend the service life.

Plastic tableware: avoid contact with high temperature objects, high temperature is easy to make plastic deformation, release harmful substances, storage should also be away from heat sources, and try not to place heavy objects on plastic tableware for a long time to prevent it from being pressed and deformed.

Silicone tableware: although the silicone material is soft and fall-resistant, it is also necessary to avoid using sharp cleaning tools to scratch the surface when cleaning, and it can be properly folded for storage, but it should not be over-bent to cause damage.
